Kalpana Anantaraman has over 20 years of experience in technology solutions and quality. After working with the company in Atlanta, Georgia, she returned to India in 2009 to lead the Avacend Solutions business in India as the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Avion, Kalpana was with General Electric for 14 Years serving in Techno-Commercial, Six Sigma Black Belt and Leadership Roles for GE Energy and GE Infrastructure, USA. A strong Business Development Professional, she is skilled in Cross-functional Team Leadership, IT Service Management, Six Sigma, Vendor Management and Wireless Technologies.
She has a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Executive Leadership Education from Harvard Business School.
She spearheaded Avacend into the LTE evolution and transformed it into a PAN Asia organisation of more than 1000 resources in the field of Telecom, IT and Networking and earned the recognition as the single largest nationwide supplier for Telco OEMs like Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung to name a few.
